A great idea to "help" you get just a little more use out of your Mp3
For more than a decade, Arkon's SoundFeeder Audio Adapters have been the leading alternative to cassette type adapters for enabling portable audio users to hear their tunes through a car or home stereo.
Simple to use
- Plug,Tune & Play.
- Full stereo sound.
- No tangled wires
- No clumsy cassette adapters.
Most vehicles purchased today no longer have a cassette deck as the standard option.
Just tune SoundFeeder into any unused FM channel and you'll hear your music player playing in STEREO through your radio.
Simply plug SoundFeeder into the line output or headphone jack of any MP3, CD, Cassette, or Minidisc player.
The SoundFeeder audio adapters can also be used to transmit your downloaded MP3 tunes on your laptop or PC directly to an FM receiver within your house.
ARKON's SF250 SoundFeeder Digital Wireless Stereo Music Adapter
allows you to transmit the audio from any portable audio player to your car's FM radio in STEREO!
The electronics of this device are based on Phase Lock Loop (PLL) synthesized circuitry. This technology means you will not have to fine tune the transmitter.
Here is how it works:
Simply plug the audio cord on the SoundFeeder into the headphone jack of your portable audio player.
Then tune your radio to any of the 8 digitally tuned FM stations supported by this device.
These include 88.1, 88.3, 88.5, 88,7, 107.1, 107.3, 107.5, 107.7Mhz.
Q & A's:
Q. Why SoundFeeder and not the traditional Cassette Type Adapter?
A. SoundFeeder provides far more options than the traditional audio cassette-type CD adapters that tend to become noisy over time. While the cassette type adapters may produce similar sound quality, they are becoming less and less compatible with many of the in-dash CD and FM stereos found in newer vehicles. The SoundFeeder adapter operates by transmitting the audio signal through a blank channel on the car's FM radio or home Hi-Fi.
Q. How does it work?
A. The SoundFeeder's audio cord plugs into the headphone jack of your respective consumer electronic audio device (e.g. MP3 player, iPod, Pocket PC, Multimedia PDA, Portable CD or Cassette player, etc.) Then, you simply set your car's radio or home audio system to a blank station on the FM band between 88 - 95MHz and tune the SoundFeeder into that frequency.
Specifications:
Operating Voltage: 3V (2 x AAA Batteries - Not Included).

NOTE: Transmitting range in a vehicle is approximately 6 feet. -- For home use, the transmitting range is approximately 8 feet. Reception strength will vary depending on the quality of the FM radio receiver.
